MacLellan, Wilbur Fraser (Shoo)

Wilbur Fraser (Shoo) MacLellan, 69, of 47 Egerton St., New Glasgow, died Thursday, Apr. 7 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Plymouth Park, he was a son of the late John K. and Estelle (Fraser) MacLellan. Retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force, he went overseas in 1942 and served in Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, Africa and Italy. Following his retirement from the RCAF in 1968, he became an electrician. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion branch 34. He is survived by his wife, the former Florence MacLean; a daughter, Anne (Mrs John MacCallum), New Glasgow; a son, Fraser, New Glasgow; two granddaughters, and a sister, Doris (Mrs Bill Jamieson), Rothesay, N.B. He was predeceased by a brother, Clary. Funeral service was Saturday, Apr. 4, in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, Rev. J. Donald MacKay officiating. Burial was in Abercrombie Cemetery.
