HAYMAN, Charlotte [Reid]
Westville -- Mrs. Will Hayman, a resident of this town all her life, died today (Monday) at Aberdeen Hospital to which she was admitted Sunday. She had been ailing for some years and was 92 in July. The former Charlotte Reid, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary [Cartwright) Reid of Westville, she went to school and grew up in Westville and following her marriage raised her family here. She was a member of St. Paul United Church and had been active in church work for many years, giving up only because of illness. She had also been active in the Local Council of Women, was a charter member of the Arts and Letters Club, and had been a life member of St. Paul Woman's Missionary Society. Throughout her life she maintained a keen interest in the affairs of her community and country and the work in general. She is survived by two daughters, May with whom she lived since Mr. Hayman's death, and Donalda (Mrs. A.H. Wilson) of New Glasgow; and one grandchild, Charlotte Wilson. Mr. Hayman predeceased her 26 years ago. She was the last of her own parents' family. Funeral attangements have not been completed yet, but it is expected to be held from the home Wednesday.
