HAYMAN, Daisy A. --83, 20 Albion Ave., Stellarton, died January 10, 1998, at home. Born in Sherbrooke, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Alice (Pye) MacDonald. She had been a resident of Stellarton since 1934, prior to which she had lived in Bridgeville. She was a member of Sharon St. John United Church, Stellarton, and was a former Sunday school teacher, Explorer's instructor, CGIT instructor and former member of the UCW. She was a former member and past regent of the IODE, Stellarton, and former president and member of Stellar Curling Club. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are daughters-in-law, Judy Hayman, Stellarton; Pauline Hayman, Trenton; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mrs. Gordon Hayman, Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband, David R., sons, Richard, David A; sisters, Grace, Mary; brothers, Condon, Ross, Douglas, James. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sharon St. John United Church, Rev. Foster Jenkins officiating. Spring burial in Brookside Cemetery, New Glasgow. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or any charity.
