Born in Middle Musquodoboit, she was a daughter of the late Marshall and Dora (Henley) Miller. She was very active in community affairs, in particular Kenzieville Presbyterian Church and Barneys River Fire Department. She was an avid card player. Surviving are daughters, Margaret (Wilfred) Henley, St. Andrews; Judy Angevine, Marshy Hope; Susan (Robert) Ward, MacPhersons Mills; sons, David (Catherine), Coalburn; Jack (Arlene), Broadway; Benjamin (Maureen), Kenzieville; Charles (Tela), Rossfield; Robert (Eva), Broadway; sisters, Rose Hubley, Hubbards; Bessie Lake, Dartmouth; Amy Tiscornia, Chaswood; Vera Fraser, Middle Musquodoboit; brothers, Sidney and Bruce, Middle Musquodoboit; Basil, Guelph, Ont.; Lester, Shubenacadie; 48 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Oakley; brothers, Arthur and Harrison; sisters, Gertrude; grandchildren, William Dean, Jill Angevine; great-grandchild, William Ham. Visitation in Kenzieville Presbyterian Church today from 12 noon until time of funeral at 1 p.m., Rev. John Cameron officiating. Burial in Glen Bard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Kenzieville Presbyterian Church or Barneys River Fire Department. Arrangements entrusted to C.L. Curry Funeral Home, Antigonish.
