JORDAN, Alvin Hugh - 78, Park Street, Trenton, Pictou County, died October 13, 1992, in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Glenelg, Guysborough County, he was a son of the late Thomas and Maria Jordan. He was a former employee of Nova Scotia Department of Mines and Trenton Works Inc. He was a member of First United Church, Trenton. He is survived by his wife, the former Charlotte MacDonald; two sons, Carl, Truro; Raymond, Stellarton; stepson, Sandy Stephenson, New Glasgow; two stepdaughters, Eileen Anderson, St. Stephen, N.B.; Linda Stephenson, at home; 12 grandchildren; nine great-gradchildren. He was predeceased by a half brother, Russell MacLaughlin. The body is in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton, visiting 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in First United Church, Rev. Stephen Frame officiating. Burial will be in Thorburn Cemetery, Pictou County. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Intensive Care Unit Aberdeen Hospital, First United Church, or any charity.
