MacNAUGHTON, James - 79, North Street, Westville, died June 5, 1993, at home. Born in Pictou, he was a son of the late John and Margaret (Davis) MacNaughton. He was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Westville, and Scotia Lodge Branch 11, IOOF, Westville for the past 43 years. He was a coal miner for over 52 years retiring from Drummond Coal Mines, Westville. He is survived by two daughters, Sally (Mrs. Stewart Leithead), Westville; Judy (Mrs. James Lemieux), Halifax; two sons, James, Guelph, Ont.; Ron (Butch), St. John's, Nfld.; two brothers, Edward (Nick), Seamore (Dykie), both of Foxbrook; five sisters, Eleanor Dixon, Jessie Marshall, Margaret (Mrs. Bernard MacLaughlin), all of Westville; Priscella (Mrs. William Beeken), Hamilton, Ont.; Verna (Mrs. John Seaman), West River Station; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Frances Carter; brother, Vernon; two sisters, Irene Kennedy, Genevieve Marcott. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Bruce Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery, Westville. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Nova Scotia Lung Association.
