WILSON, Florence P. (Lottie)
WILSON, Florence P. (Lottie) - 84, West Cottage Street, Pictou, formerly Westville, died November 24, 1998, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Gretta (MacDonald) MacDonald. As a young girl, she grew up in Westville. She worked at The Evening News, and later The Chronicle-Herald. In 1946, she moved to New Jersey, where she also worked in the newspaper field. She later became printing coordinator for the United States army, where she worked until her retirement. She returned to Nova Scotia in September of this year to reside in Pictou. Surviving are her
husband, Clarence (Larry); sister, Muriel MacDonald, Westville; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Jean Hawboldt, Agnes Burnett, June Wood; brothers, John, Redverse, Raymond, James, Leonard and Harry MacDonald. Cremation has taken place. Private family graveside committal service 1 p.m. Sunday in Auburn Cemetery, Westville, Rev. Glenn Copper officiating. Donations to Jimmy Hawboldt Memorial Trust, Northumberland Veteran Unit, Pictou. Arrangements entrusted to Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.
