CULLEN, John A. (Johnny) - 166 Rutherford St., Stellarton, died November 28, 1992, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Eva (Boudreau) Cullen, Stellarton, and the late John Cullen. A lifelong resident of Stellarton, he was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church; chairman of Lourdes Parish Hall Committee and past chairman of the parish council. He was a 17-year member of Pictou District School Board and chairman of Pictou Regional Housing. He also sat and chaired for 12 years on Pictou County Community College Board. He was a former employee of Clark Tire Limited, New Glasgow and B.F. Goodrich Limited, New Glasgow. He was office manager with Goodwear Treaders Limited, Antigonish, until becoming ill. He is survived by his wife, the former Anne Morgan; two daughters, Lee Anne CullenRudolph, Stellarton; Linda Turnbull, Hopewell; son, Robert Joseph, Peterborough, Ont.; sister, Jeanette (Mrs. Michael Elchuck), Stellarton; two brothers, Albert, Robert, both of Lourdes, Pictou County; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Karen. The body is in H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton, visiting 3-5, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Charles Cameron officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Aberdeen Hospital Outpatients Department.
