CAMERON, E. Scott (Scottie) - 73, Point FortyFour, Little Harbour, formerly of Clairmont Avenue, Stellarton, died January 1, 1995, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Thurston and Harriette (Mason) Cooke. She was a popular music teacher and an avid supporter of New Glasgow Music Festival. She was a graduate of Aberdeen School of Nursing; past president of IODE and Aberdeen Hospital Auxiliary; longtime member of Sharon St. John United Church and choir; mission band leader and Sunday school teacher. She was an enthusiastic bridge player and curler. Surviving are her husband, Earl W.; sons, Donald, Bedford; Richard, Toronto; daughter, Eleanor (Mrs. Cecil Stockley), Twillingate, Nfld.; Lorna, Windsor, Ont.; brother, Joseph, Scotsburn; sisters, Gloria (Mrs. Jim Christison), Trenton; Yvonne (Mrs. Donald Fraser), Sinclairs Island, Pictou Co.; Helen Barter, Red Deer, Alta.; four grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Earl Christopher; brothers, Clyde, Donald; sister, Molly. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sharon St. John United Church, Stellarton, Rev. Foster Jenkins officiating. Spring burial in Brookside Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or any charity.
