CAMERON, Elmer A. - 67, Hopewell, formerly of Trenton, died November 25, 1994, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Trenton, he was a son of the late Howard and Gertrude (Gladney) Cameron. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Lourdes. He was a former employee of Hawker Siddeley Ltd., retiring in 1977 due to ill health. He played softball for many years and coached various fastball teams in the county. He is survived by his wife, the former Edna Archibald; daughters, Esther (Mrs. Clifford Keddy), Westville; Joan Fraser, Stellarton; Ann-Marie (Mrs. Ron Ross), Lower Sackville; Bernadette (Mrs. Russell Green), Hopewell; Karen (Mrs. Charles Greencorn), Trenton; son, Kim, Hopewell; 13 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; a great-grandchild; sisters, Nora (Mrs. Bernard MacDonald), Trenton; brother, Arthur, St. Clairs Island. He was predeceased by sisters, Cora, Kate, Stella, Mildred; brothers, Holly, Bruce, Clyde, Gerald, William in infancy. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Charles Cameron officiating. Burial will be in Christ the King Cemetery. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or any charity. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
