SMITH (MacPHEE), E. Jean
SMITH (MacPhee), E. Jean - 3 Park Ln., Antigonish, died December 19, 1997, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in James River, Antigonish Co., she was a daughter of the late MacKichan and Annie (MacEachern) MacPhee. She was a civil servant and worked for the Nova Scotia government for 23 years in the Antigonish offices. She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Marshy Hope; Naomi Rebekah Lodge and Club 60. Surviving are daughter, Joanne (Owen) MacIntyre, Pinevale; son, Donald (Sherri), Red Deer, Alta.; grandchildren, Jason and Ian MacIntyre, Courtney Smith; great-granddaughter, Kathleen Star MacIntyre; brother, Lloyd MacPhee, Brookfield, formerly of James River; sister, Edith MacPhee, Halifax. She was predeceased by brothers, Gordon, John; sister, Ruth. The body has been cremated. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Monday, December 22, in MacIsaac Funeral Home, Antigonish. Memorial service 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, in Kenzieville Presbyterian Church, Kenzieville, Rev. Ken MacLeod officiating. Interment in Glenbard Cemetery, James River, at a later date. Family flowers only. Memorial donations to the IWK-Grace Health Centre or Multiple Sclerosis Society.
