BELL, Winnifred Ann (Winnie) - 52, Eureka, Pictou County, died June 22, 1993 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of Irene (Sinclair) Brown, Hopewell, and the late Arthur Brown. She was a resident of Eureka all of her married life where she was a member of Wesley United Church. She worked for some 25 years at both the former Pictou County Home for the Disabled, Riverton, and Valley View Villa, Riverton. She was a member of Downhome Cloggers and also won many awards in table top competition. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; two daughters, Joanne (Mrs. Daniel Wilkins), River John; Marjorie (Mrs. Kevin Moser), Sunny Brae; three sons, Stephen, Stellarton; John, Sackville; Phillip, Westville; four sisters, Joyce (Mrs. James Langille), Sunny Brae; Loretta (Mrs. Joe Landry), Stellarton; Debbie Brown, Hopewell; Dehlia Brown, Goose Bay, Lab.; three brothers, Bud, Delbert, both of Dartmouth; Wilson, Prince Edward Island; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Wesley United Church where a memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Marjorie Cornelius officiating. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to Valley View Villa, Aberdeen Hospital Pallative Care Unit or Canadian Cancer Society.
