At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, June 30, 1997, of Edna MacDougall Stewart (nee Saunders) of Little Sands, age 78 years. Wife of the late Charles Stewart; dear mother of Barry (Carolyn) of Little Sands, Sandra (Warren) MacLean of Iris, Heather (Thom) MacMillan of Wood Islands, and Wayne (Anne) of Grandview; grandmother of Kimberly, Krista, Twila, and Matthew, J.C., Kyle, Nicholas, Kyla, and Danielle and C.J.; great-grandmother of Robie and Gracyn. Also survived by brothers, Doug (Kay) of Murray River, Wilbert (Reta) of B.C. and Freeman also of B.C. Predeceased by brothers George, Alfred and A.C. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home until Wednesday, then to the Free Church of Scotland, Murray River, from where a private funeral service will be held. Interment in Little Sands Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday 7-9 pm. If so desired, memorials to the Free Church of Scotland would be appreciated.
