Dorothy (Dot) May Paris, 71, 396 East River Road, New Glasgow, died Monday, February 12 *1990*, in Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Rosie (Paris) Paris. She was a former employee of Quaker Oats Company and Goodman Company Ltd. She was a member of Second United Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and a charter member and past president of the ladies' auxiliary. She was treasurer of the Women's Missionary Bertha Myers Society and president of the Pursurer's Society. She was a member of the board of directors of VON, Local Council of Women and Eastern Temple, 779, West Montreal. She is survived by two brothers, Hugh (Sparky), New Glasgow; Percy, Halifax; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Nathan; a daughter, Betty; six brothers, Freeman, James, Leonard, William, Leslie, Stanley; three sisters, Mary, Sadie, Rosie. Funeral was held Thursday, February 15 *1990* in Second United Baptist Church. Spring burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
