Angus MacGillivray, 89, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of High Street Trailer Park, New Glasgow, died Saturday, February 24 *1990*, in the manor. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late John D. and Mary (MacInnis) MacGillivray. He was a retired employee of Hawker Siddley. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow. He went west on the Harvest Excursion in the late 1920's. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1939 to 1945. In his youth, he was an outstanding athlete, having played hockey and baseball. He is survived by a sister, Mrs Tena MacInnis; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five brothers, Joe, John, Hector, Andy, Willie. Funeral was held Tuesday, February 27 *1990* in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. Spring burial will be in the parish cemetery.
