CROUSE, James H.
James H. Crouse, 85, 10 MacKay Court, Truro, died May 26, 1994, at home. Born in Moser River, he was a son of the late Willoughby and Elizabeth (Woodworth) Crouse. He worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for over 33 years. During that time, he worked out of Sydney, Glace Bay and New Glasgow as an agent, assistant branch manager, field training instructor and was branch manager of the Moncton district upon retirement in 1967 to Tatamagouche. He was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church, Truro and was an elder in the Presbyterian Church of Canada. He was a member of Keystone Lodge 102, Tatamagouche and received his 50 year pin from the Grand Lodge of Nova Scotia AF & AM in 1991. He is survived by a son Donald, Sydney; a daughter, Elizabeth (Mrs Don MacLaren), Truro; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Katherine *Ann* Foote; two brothers, Silvyn, Clifford; Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 pm today, 3:30-5, 7-9 pm Saturday in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Funeral will be 2 pm Sunday *May 29, 1994* in St. James Presbyterian Church, Rev. Clair MacLeod officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Alma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Presbyterian Church Memorial Window Fund.
