CAMERON, Marilyn Anita
CAMERON, Marilyn Anita - 63, Halifax, formerly of Drummond Road, Westville, passed away
Saturday, March 6, 1999, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Hibernia, Queens County,
she was the daughter of the late James and Ada (Burhoe) Rawding. She was a retired school
teacher, having taught several years throughout Nova Scotia, including the New Glasgow and
Stellarton school systems. She was a member of Pictou County Arts and Crafts Association and the First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton. She is survived by her husband, Douglas; one daughter, Michelle (David) Cole, Brampton, Ont.; twin grandchildren, Jeanette and Nathan; two sisters, Jeannine Wernham, London, Ont.; Rosalie (Donald) Delong, Kempt, Queens County; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 1999, in the First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton, Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating, assisted by Rev. George MacDonald. Burial will be in the Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Alma. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton, or to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Branch. A reception will follow the service in the church hall.
