BENOIT, Rose Ann [DeWolfe]
BENOIT, Rose Ann - 91, R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish, formerly of Pomquet, died July 31, 1998, in the home. Born in Pomquet, she was a daughter of the late William John and Lucy Ann (Melanson) DeWolfe. Before her marriage she worked for many years in Boston. Surviving are daughter, Phyllis McCaig, Pomquet; son, William and daughter-in-law Marie, Bras d'Or; daughter-in-law, Roxy Benoit, Sudbury, Ont.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William A.; daughter, Cecilia; son, Theophile; infant daughter, Lorraine; granddaughters, Carol Ann Proulx, Elaine Seguin; sisters, Bertha, Mary Jane; brothers, Francis, Clarence, George. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish. Funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Ste. Croix Church, Pomquet, Rev. P.J. Baccardax officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home or VON, Antigonish Branch.
