McNEILL, J. Edwin
McNEILL, J. Edwin - 92, R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, formerly of Cedar Terrace, Antigonish, passed away March 12, 1999. Born in Summerside, PEI, he was the son of the late Hubert P. and Eliza (Currie) McNeill. He received his early education in the rural schools of Prince Edward Island and he upgraded his education through several correspondence courses. He was a hardware manager at the R.T. Holman Department Store, Sumerside. Since his retirement, he has resided in Antigonish. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and an active member of St. Ninian's Parish, Antigonish. He is survived by sister, Ellen Arsenault, Antigonish; nephew, Frank Arsenault, PEI; several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Margaret; nephews, Leonard, Leonce; niece, Helen MacDonald. Arrangements have been entrusted to MacIsaac Funeral Home, Antigonish. Funeral service to be held at 10 a.m. today, March 16, 1999 in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Antigonish, Rev. Bill Crispo officiating. Burial in St. Ninian's Cemetery at a later date.
