CONWAY, David Hudson
CONWAY, David Hudson - 76, 40 Cornwall St., North Sydney, passed away March 11, 1999 in Northside General Hospital, North Sydney. Born in Plymouth, he was a son of the late James and Beatrice (Muir) Conway. He was employed as a section man with CNR for 2 years. He ws a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the Canadian Army in Holland, Belgium and France. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 19, North Sydney, and a member of Oldfellows Lodge, Stellarton. Surviving are his wife, the former Muriel March; daughters, Diane (Mrs. Harry Healey), Sydeny Mines; Jeanette Conway, Sydney; son, Paul, Windsor; brother, James, Summerville; sisters, Christine (Mrs. John Rector), New Glasgow; Mary Foote, New York; seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by son, Roy Craig; sister, Isabel Schoefield; brothers, Michael, Edwar, Henry. Arrangements have been entrusted to W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney. Visitation will be at 12 noon today, March 13, 1999 until time of funeral at 2 p.m. in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow. Burial to follow in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Pictou County. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association.
