MacINTOSH, Derek Graham - 47, Dartmouth, passed away in Dartmouth General Hospital on March 12, 1999 after a lengthy illness. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Mildred MacKenzie and step-father Charles MacKenzie, Stellarton, Nova Scotia. After receiving his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Saint Mary's University, he was employed with Ford Motor Company of Canada as Regional Operations Manager until his illness. Surviving are children, Michael Graham and Tanya Marie and their mother, Karen MacIntosh; brother, David, wife Judy, Dartmouth; sister, Nancy and husband Earle Reid, Milford Station; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Spencer MacIntosh. Arrangements are being handled by Atlantic Funeral Homes, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Visitation will be held today, March 13, 1999 from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Sunday, March 14, 1999 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home with burial at a later date in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Pictou County. A reception will be held in the funeral home following the service. Memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
