PROSSER, Pastor Carlton Glidden
PROSSER, Pastor Carlton Glidden - 70, Kingston, formerly of New Glasgow, died February 25, 1999, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Moncton, N.B., he was the son of the late Gilbert and Katheryn (McNulty) Prosser. He was a retired pastor of the Independent Baptist Church and had various churches in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, where he was active in Christian camps and youth ministries. His favourite passtime was listening to his classical records. Surviving are his wife, the former Marjorie Bailey; daughters Beverly Reade, Lower Sackville; Nancy Gates, Simcoe, Ont.; sons, Robert, Melvern Square; Ronald, Simcoe; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Saturday, funeral 2 p.m. Sunday, all in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, Dr. Gerald Pauley officiating. Burial in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Cancer Society, or any charity.
