WALLACE, Arthur D. - 77, 31 Green St., New Glasgow, died February 26, 1999, in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born in Trenton, he was a son of the late Wilbur and Bessie (Geddes) Wallace. He was an adherent of Trinity United Church, New Glasgow. He attended school in Trenton. He retired from Aberdeen Hospital, where he was employed as a stationary engineer. He enjoyed the hobbies of fishing and gardening, and will always be remembered for his thoughtfulness and kindness in helping so many others in so many ways. He is survived by his wife, Lois; a daughter, Caroline, British Columbia; Annie (Mrs. Bill Cameron), and Dorothy Campbell, both of New Glasgow; Helen Atwater, Linacy and step-mother, Mary Wallace, Glen Haven Manor. He was predeceased by a brother, Keith, and sisters, Emma and Frances. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, from where his funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Norman Marple officiating. Interment will be in the Lorne Street Cemetery, New Glasgow. Donations in his memory may be made to any charity.
