BAKER, James Edgar - 97, Foxbrook Road, Westville, died February 26, 1999, in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow Born in Fernie, B.C., he was a son of the late James Edward and Delara (MacKenzie) Baker. He moved to Westville at the age of two years where he resided all his life until becoming a resident of Glen Haven Manor. He was a coal miner by occupation, having worked at the Drummond Coal Mine for 62 years. Surviving are daughters, Elda Kieswetter, Hamilton, Ont.; Elizabeth Cummings, Stellarton; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Sarah MacLaren; sons, Russell and James; sisters, Olive Hansford, Janetta Rundle. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, funeral 2 p.m. Monday, both in Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, Rev. Marion Patterson officiating. Burial to follow in Auburn Cemetery, Westville.
