MacKENZIE, John William - 79, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of Abercrombie Road, New Glasgow, died July 9, 1998, in the manor. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late John and Eva E. (Fraser) MacKenzie. He worked as a farmer and a truckman most of his working years. He was also an avid horseman. Surviving are sisters, Marjorie Whooten, Truro; Jean Crosby, Durham; Marion Chabassol, Westville; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Calvin, Ballam, Douglas. Cremation has taken place. Graveside service 11 a.m. Wednesday in Riverside Cemetery, New Glasgow, Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Donations to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or any charity. Arrangements entrusted to H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
