WILLIAMS, John Donald - 83, Pictou, died July 4, 1998, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Pugwash Junction, he was a son of the late James and Marion (MacInnes) Williams. He moved from Pugwash Junction to work at his father's business, Williams & Sons Lumber Mill, Sunnybrae, Pictou Co. He was a millwright and sawyer. He was later employed with J.J. Collie & Sons before retiring. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Pictou, and a member of Regina IOOF Lodge 74, Sunnybrae, for over 50 years. Surviving are his wife, the former S. Elda Campbell; sons, John D. (Jack), Glencoe; James H. (Jim), Pictou; Donald C., Fredericton; daughter, Agnes (Mrs. Ken Turner), Pictou; brother, Colin, Hamilton, Ont.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, George, James, Willy in infancy; sisters, Jessie and Chris. Cremation has taken place. Funeral 2 p.m. today in First Presbyterian Church, Pictou, Rev. Iona MacLean officiating, assisted by Mrs. Jessie Johnson. Burial at a later date in Pugwash Junction. Family flowers only. Donations to First Presbyterian Church or any charity. Arrangements entrusted to McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou.
