Born in Pictou, she was the former Anna Mae Rice, daughter of the late Mabel (Rice) Humphreys and stepdaughter of the late Freddie Humphreys. She was a former employee of Steeltown Pharmacy and Shoppers Drug Mart, Trenton. She was a member of First United Church, Trenton. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert; daughters, Jane (Mrs. John Marshall) McLellans Brook; Brenda (Mrs. Gordon MacDonald), Trenton; grandchildren, Gordie, Denise and Devin; great-grandchildren, DesirŽe and Dawson; stepsister, Joan Brown, Halifax; stepdaughters, Diane (Mrs. David Hamilton), Summerside; Judy Hiscott, Calgary; Pearl Hiscott, Halifax; stepsons, Jim, Halifax; Brian, New Glasgow; Sandy, Calgary; nine step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert (Rab) MacDonald. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in First United Church, Trenton, Rev. Stephen Fram and Rev. David Hamilton officiating. Cremation to follow. Burial of ashes in Abercrombie Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or First United Church, Trenton.
