WARD, David Earle
WARD, David Earle - 38, lifelong resident of Hopewell, Pictou Co., died September 18, 1997, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Infirmary Site. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Lester (Bill) and Lois (Forbes) Ward, Hopewell. He was an employee of Atlantic Roofers. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hopewell. Surviving are daughter, Ashlee, Westville; common-law spouse, Kelly Gratto; stepson, Steven Burton; brothers, Lester, Kevin, all of Hopewell; sisters, Karen (Mrs. Strachan MacKay), Brookland, Pictou Co.; Barbara (Mrs. John McMillan), Eureka; Lynn Davis, White Hill; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Lawson and Bertha Forbes; paternal grandparents, Cecil and Olive Ward. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral 3:30 p.m. Sunday in First Presbyterian Church, Hopewell, Rev. Gary Tonks officiating. Burial in Riverton Cemetery. Donations to First Presbyterian Church, Hopewell, or any charity.
