DeCOSTE, Joseph (Dan) - 93, Frankville, Antigonish Co., died September 25, 1997, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital. Born in Frankville, he was a son of the late Patrick and Sophia (DeCoste) DeCoste. He was retired from the CNR, where he worked for many years as a section man. Surviving are sons, Bernard, Toronto; Lloyd, Frankville; brother, Wilfred, Frankville; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Josephine; sons, Kevin, Daniel; a grandson; sisters, Loretta, Ethelbert, Lillian; brothers, Bernard, Stephen, Anthony, Michael. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul's Centre, Havre Boucher. Funeral 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Paul's Church, Havre Boucher, Rev. Angus MacGillivary officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Donations to St. Paul's Parish building fund. Arrangements entrusted to Curry Bros. Funeral Home, Antigonish.
