The Pictou County death records for this period are available for purchase from Steven A. Bridges in three volumes. Volume 1 covers the period of 1864 to 1869. Volume 2 covers 1870 to 1874. Volume 3 covers 1875 to 1877. Personally, I've found the death date of my gr-gr grandmother in Volume 2 -- and have also found an as yet unverified fourth child for this lady. I'm personally very thankful that these volumes are still available.
