Mrs. Gladys Cruickshank, widow of William R. Cruickshank, passed away at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. She was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. J.P. English, of Pictou, where she was educated. After living for a time in Fort Worth, Texas, she trained as a nurse at
Brooklyn Hospital, and then nursed in World War One. Surviving are one son, William, and one sister Enid (Mrs. J.H.C. Murdock) with whom she made her home since the death of her husband 6 years ago. Remains are resting at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Murdock, 12 Pleasant Street, from where the funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 pm. Rev David Mawhinney
