This is the view from the balcony of the Ratusz (city hall). The view sometimes changes as they adjust the camera, but on the left you can usually see Brama Krakowskie (Cracow Gate), one of the original gates into the old town. This is one of the most popular meeting places in the city, and in early evening you can often see people standing around waiting for their friends.
The tower in the background is Wieza Trynitarska (Trinity Tower), a latter gateway into the old town and located beside the cathedral.
The buildings in front are typical of the 19th century style and are outside what was once the city walls.
