The Powiat of Łęczna (Leczna)
LECZNA is in the central part of the Lubelskie province. Spoken Polish in this part of the country is more melodic than in other parts of Poland, related a little to the way Russians speak. OLD WOJ.: For LDS family centre and some
internet resources, you need to know the so-called 'old wojewodztwo'. (actually,
these 'old woj' were only in existence from 1975-1998). All gmina's (districts)
were within the old Lubelskie woj, except that of Cycow, which was in the
Chelm woj.
