Anyone wishing to take advantage of this offer is requested to follow the format shown on the table.  That is, list your genealogy research information as follows.

Paternal Maternal Surname / Town / Barrio / Start Date / End Date /

Please limit yourself to no more that twenty surname listing.

You may also enter one query (no more than a paragraph or two) providing the details of any of the surnames on your list.  For advice on how best to write or present a query please review our section entitled How To Post A Query.

After a sufficient number of subscribers have taken advantage of this service, all the surnames from their pages will be combined onto a general surname listing page with no graphics.  The page will be designed to be easily  printable by other researchers, genealogical societies, family history centers and other interested parties.  Also to be included will be any links to any personal family page you may have or want to make others aware of.

For the Puerto Rican genealogy researcher there are several advantages in taking advantage of this  offer, the most important of which is that the service is free (as in "gratis").  No membership in any genealogical society is required. Nonetheless, La Genealogia de Puerto Rico encourages every researcher to join the genealogical society of their choice.  All surnames on your surname listing  will be linked to the Rootweb GenSeeker Search Engine as well as the Surname Helper Engine.  Your listing will provide other researchers with a quick grasp of the surnames you are interested in and the degree and level of your genealogy research.

In order that your request for your own personal surname listing page be handled in the most efficient and expeditious manner.   You are requested to make the subject heading in your e-mail  message read: SURNAME LISTING PAGE.  Please identify your first and last name at a minimum (no requests without this name information will be honored).  Your e-mail address will be listed with your page however no active link will be made to it unless you specifically declare that you want it so.  If you like La Genealogia de Puerto Rico to have on file your name, address and telephone number you are welcome to submitt it but that information will NOT be divulge to anyone else under any circumstances.  Your name and address will only be kept on file to serve as an additional direct contact source between you and La Genealogia de Puerto Rico.
