These sites provide access and the ability to contribute to surnames lists, transcriptions of documents, query posting facilities and more. The geographical region of the Pacific Ocean known as Polynesia covers a vast area and contains many small island countries. Polynesia stretches from Hawaii in the west almost to Australia and includes such places as New Zealand, Tonga and Western Samoa, to name but a few.
