Patch Autograph Book

late 1880's (Brome Corner, Drummondville, Millington, East Bolton, etc)

These are the pages of the autograph book of the young Amelia Bertha Patch, daughter of Ephraim J. Patch of Brome County. She was also the sister of Stillman Patch. Amelia was born August 13, 1873 in Millington. She married Henderson Harlow Miner (her first cousin) on September 27, 1893 in Richford,VT.
They later settled in Dunham and ran a general store. The store closed in about 1911 and the family moved to CT and later to Springfield, MA. They ran a restaurant in Springfield for a short time. They both died in 1930 about a month apart. Amelia on April 28th. She is buried in Hartford, CT. Of their 8 children only one, Arden Miner, remained in the eastern townships when the family moved. He lived in Cowansville until his death. The children of Amelia and Henderson were, Harlow, Arden, Wilfred, Leland, Lucy, Roderick, Muriel and Stanley.

Lucy, my grandmother, had kept the autograph book that was her mothers and had passed it to her daughter Muriel who gave it to me when I began to research the family tree. I think it was a great find along with some pictures of family members. ---
