Clark Cemetery, Huntingdon County
also known as Miller Cemetery

Digital photographs of headstones and transcription by Selwyn Wesley MacDiarmid.

In earlier days, Clark Cemetery, now neglected and difficult to find, was a private family burial ground. The cemetery is also called Miller Cemetery because Moses Miller was the father-in-law of Samuel Clark. Samuel Clark once owned the land where the cemetery was created. In the transcription by Gerry Rogers, the cemetery is described as being a private cemetery with a rockwall located at Kilbain Corner's - Ridge Road, on Lot 47, 3rd Concession of Godmanchester. The transcription by Gerry Rogers lists no additional gravestones beyond the ones listed below.

The cemetery is located 4km south of Cazaville, Québec.  To visit the cemetery, take the exit south of Cazaville with a left turn onto Leahy Road, travel east on Leahy Road past farm Civic Number 2754 for a distance of 0.4km. Clark Cemetery is then found about 2 meters from the north side of Leahy Road.

The photograph  shows the general location and neglected appearance of this cemetery.  Strewn pieces of headstones without specific inscriptions indicate other family members are probably buried there.

Two unbroken, but deteriorated headstones,  that did not register by digital photography,  are transcribed as follows:
