Athelstan Cemetery - Munro Hall

Athelstan Cemetery was located behind what was Munro Hall. The Munro family had built the building in 1904 to house auctions and later donated  the building to the village for use as a community hall. Gerry Rogers suspected that the location may have been the site of the original Athelstan Church. He noted that in 1970 there were still a few stones remaining in the small cemetery that was just behind and to the west of the building. Below is the list he recorded. These stones had been removed or had disappeared by 2003.
