The pages of this site are grouped within five main sections reachable
from the menu at the top of each window:
Region - General information on the Laurentians region, its geography,
its history and the towns that are located in the four old counties that
now form Quebec's administrative region number 15, namely Argenteuil,
Labelle (the Northern part), Terrebonne and Two-Mountains (Deux-Montagnes).
Institutions - Data concerning the different institutions of interest
to the genealogists in the Laurentians, like the parishes, the cemeteries,
the public libraries, the schools, the genealogical and historical societies,
etc. The addresses and phone numbers are clearly identified.
Documentation - Indexes of available genealogical data, either
online or in print, in the region and about the region, like vital records,
censuses, notaries archives, old pictures, etc.
Sharing - A meeting place for genealogists, with online bulletin
boards, lookups and a list of researchers with their fields of interest.
Links - A list of links to sites of organisations and individuals
concerning the region and the genealogy of families that have lived in
the Laurentians.
