Navigation tips on this web site

The pages of this site are grouped within five main sections reachable from the menu at the top of each window:

Region - General information on the Laurentians region, its geography, its history and the towns that are located in the four old counties that now form Quebec's administrative region number 15, namely Argenteuil, Labelle (the Northern part), Terrebonne and Two-Mountains (Deux-Montagnes).

Institutions - Data concerning the different institutions of interest to the genealogists in the Laurentians, like the parishes, the cemeteries, the public libraries, the schools, the genealogical and historical societies, etc. The addresses and phone numbers are clearly identified.

Documentation - Indexes of available genealogical data, either online or in print, in the region and about the region, like vital records, censuses, notaries archives, old pictures, etc.

Sharing - A meeting place for genealogists, with online bulletin boards, lookups and a list of researchers with their fields of interest.

Links - A list of links to sites of organisations and individuals concerning the region and the genealogy of families that have lived in the Laurentians.
