Baker, Malcolm Clapp, veterinary surgeon. Born Dunham, P.Q. in 1849 and educated at Dunham Acadamy. Married, August, 1890, Mary Lovell, daughter of the late John Lovell, publisher, Montreal. He graduated from the Montreal Veterinary College in 1879, and after being appointed inspector of live stock, Montreal (a position he still retains), was for 14 years professor of anatomy in the Ontario Veterinary College, becoming afterwards professor of Comparative Medicine and Veterinary Science at McGill University. He is a member of the firm McEachren Baker & McEachren veterinary surgeons [along with Duncan McEachren and Charles McEacheren]. He was elected President of the Montreal Veterinary Medicine Association in 1887, and President of the Association of Veterinary Surgeons of Quebec in 1906. Address: 191 Milton,St.,
