Montreal | On Thursday the 3rd inst.
Dr. ROBERT SYM, a native of Glasgow, in Scotland, who had practised
physic in this city, with no small degree of eminence, about 30 years,
and had attended the hospital of the Hotel Dieu for upwards of 25 years
gratis. He was honored with a commission as Hospital-Mate of this
garrison. On the 5th inst. his remains were interred in the Protestant
burying ground, and the honours due to his appointment were performed by
a detachment of the 100th Regt. and a very numerous and respectable body
of
his fellow-citizens. |
