Need parents of Harriet ROACH,born about 1820 in " South Kingstown". I have seen the place of birth on various documents as Jamestown, and Newport, RI. She was the daughter of John W. ROACH, "an Englishman", and Betsey ?, an "American". I believe her mother may have been from the ARNOLD family. Harriet married first John LEWIS of Smithfield about 1838, then Joseph COLE from Seekonk in 1847.
