I am seeking information on William SEVIER, shown in the census of 1790 in Newport, also have information in the book 'Descendants of Nathaniel Mowry of Rhode Island' where William had signed a note to Natheniel Mowry in 1746. Assistance appreciated.

BOWEN I am seeking any information pertaining to Jonathan Bowen. He was married to a Sarah Shove (daughter of George Shove). They were the parents of a David Bowen who married Elizabeth Folger CHASE on Sept. 6, 1810 in Newport at a Quaker service. Jonathan later married Lydia Chase after the death of his first wife. David Bowen may have come to Newport from Somerset,MA. He and first wife, Sarah, had several children. I am descendented from Gilbert Chase Bowen who left Providence for Rock Island,IL. His brother, David Jr. followed him to the same location. Son George was a banker in Providence.

Looking for a Newton HARVEY born in 1784 possibly in Portsmouth, Newport County. I am sure he was born in Rhode Island but not sure of town, however his son James R. Harvey traveled to Portsmouth, RI and died there. Newton moved to Vermont and married Ann Sisson, they then traveled to New York and finally settled in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. Children were Isaac Newton, Titus, Darius, Ann, Sarah, Nathaniel, Marcus, Bulah, Hepsubeth, Antoinette, James R. and Jane Angeline. Mabel Marietta MANCHESTER b. April 29, 1920 d. October 11, 1996. Died in Fall River in Bristol County at St. Anne's Hospital. Buried in the Pleasent View cemetary in Tiverton, RI. 76 years old when she passed away. Lived at 19 Pottersville road.

I made a mistake on my previous query on Mabel Marietta MANCHESTER I wrote that she lived at 15 Pottersville Road, well that's incorrect, it's actually 5 Pottersville Road. Extra info: Her parents names were Leland MAnchester (father) and Louise Grinnel PLATT (mother. I don't know of any children Mabel had, or if she had a spouse. The ROSE family Block Island I am seeking to document the lineage from Tormutt ROSE (1700s) of Block Island, RI down to Mary Rose. Mary Rose married Godfrey TRIM(M) and their daughter Desire TRIM was born on Block Island in 1781. The family later moved to Islesboro, Maine. Desire TRIM was my third great-grandmother; she died at the age of 98 in Oak Bay, St. David, New Brunswick, Canada. She and her second husband, Sargent TOWLE of Belgrade, ME, are buried there with many of their children. My Mum - Patricia Dawn BISSELL - was recently contacted by a research agency. They want to create the family tree of Marion Louise BISSELL. She moved to America with her family when she was a child. from the records of St. Paul's church, Narragansett, 1718-1875. Arthur Gates AUCHMUTY married Ann DICKINSON at the home of Benjamin Mumford in South Kingstown by Dr. James McSparran, Sept. 8,1734. I would appreciate any information of the parentage of both Arthur and Ann. I have Charles DICKINSON as Ann's father, his father as Charles DICKINSON and his father as John DICKINSON and mother Elizabeth HOWLAND. I need confirmation of the parentage. I'm also curious as to the relationship between the married couple and Benjamin Mumford.
