Searching for info on William Raymond DINGAS. This is my deceased Uncle whom I have virtually no data on. He was a Navy man (E6/E7) and reportedly died in CT abt 1980. Can't find him there but did locate a Wm. DINGAS buried in MiddleTown Cemetery about 1976. Being a Navy man, this might be him. He may have been married and there is, in fact a Jean DINGAS at this same cemetery. Am looking for anyone who can find the obituary on the RI DINGAS buried there in the hope clues might surface. Also, anyone who can access the Middletown cemetery records to obtain more info might help. I'm located in Middle Georgia.

I am wandering why the children of Thomas and Lydia (BROWNELL) BROWN were list as being born in Little Compton, when shortly after their marriage in 1809 they moved to Madison, Madison County, NY. Thomas' parents were Thomas BROWN and Ruth PECKHAM. The First born of Thomas and Lydia was William T BROWN in 1810. Second was Abby in 1811. Third was Isaac in 1812. Fourth was Deborah who died young (no record in Madison of her death). Lydia was born in 1816. Joseph was born in 1819. Ruth was born in 1821. James (my gg grandfather) was born in 1824. Mary was born in 1827. All were born in Madison, Madison, NY. Lydia Brownell died about 1833 but no death record for her. Thomas remarried Cynthia Peckham daughter of Isaac Peckham and Patience Lawton. Shortly thereafter they moved to Portage Co, Oh and settled in Geauga Co, OH. Any help on the deaths and places of burial of Lydia and Deborah would be appreciated. Also why were the place of birth of their children listed as Little Compton? Thanks Dennis alternate email
