I suspect one John SMITH b:1745 probably in England, entered Newport County about 1760- 1765. He married Mary BULL b:1748, about 1770 and they set up housekeeping in Manchester, VT about 1770. Mary's family (Issac BULL) removed from RI to the Oblong Monthly Meeting in Dover, Dutchess County, NY. Any ideas where to find John's entry point, or John & Mary's marrieage record? I have tried VT and NY. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, John P. Smith.

I am looking for information on a Seconet Indian named Isaac ISAAC. His name appears on deeds granted under the Sachem Mamanowet (Mamanewa) around 1683. Was this person also known as Isaac ALDERMAN or are they different people? Was Isaac ALDERMAN an Indian preacher in the Westport area that became Little Compton?
My greatgrandmother was born Philomena PERRY and she died about 1963 in Lowell, MA at the age of 95 which would make her date of birth somewhere around 1870. Her father was Peter PERRY III and her mother was Hilda CARRIER. I have no idea exactly where Philomena was born, but family oral history says that she was related to Oliver Hazard PERRY who was born in Newport, RI. She also reputedly had a cousin who was the Episcopal Bishop of the Diocese of Rhode Island for a period of about 35 years. Philomena married a William CHASE (CHASSE?). I am trying to establish any links I can to Philomena. Thank you for any information you may be able to provide.
