The Kelley family went from N. C. to GA 1820, to AR 1858. Many

descendents still live in N.W. Arkansas.

The Owen family went from W.V to TN 1800, to AR after

1875. Owen descendents still live in N.W. AR.

The Rutledge family arguably came from S.C. to TN before

1830, to MO 1868. Many descendents still live in MO.

The Pruitt family moved from Lancaster, KY 1885 and went

to Belton, MO, to TX 1906, to OK after WW !, to AR after 1925. All of the

Pruitts moved to CA before WWII.

Grandma Pruitt's mother, Martha Elizabeth Williamson, was

born in Des Moines, IA, married a Beebe and raised family in Belton, MO,

then followed the children to TX, MO, then

to AR. Grandma Williamson Beebe & Grandma Chelnessee Rutledge Owen were

close friends in AR and both held me

as a baby. Grandma Owen died in 1937 at age 77 when I

was three years old. Ggrandma Beebe died in 1946 when I

was twelve years old. I vaguely remember Grandma Owen,

but Grandma Beebe and I were good friends. I still think of

them often and still miss them very much.
