Last Will and Testament of James McGarity

I James McGarity Being of perfit Memory but in a Verry frail Situation Occasioned by Rumatick pains and a Deslocation of the Hench bone do
hereby request that after My Decese, that my Body be Decently Entarred, and that My body may return to Him that gave it to me ---- And that after
my Deth the following distribution to be made of what remains ------
And that John McGarity and Henry -L- Bradley as Exucators to manage or Divide as is here stated ----- I do hereby in the first place Bequathe to my
beloved Wife Agness McGarity all that remains after My Decese --- to be given to her as She properly stands Necessitated for the Same -- By the
above John McGarity or Henry -L- Bradley. I also Do allow that after the Decese of My Wife as above Stated if there be anything left that the above
Mentioned then will give to my Son James McGarity as much as will Buy him a suit of Cloths Not Exceding Twenty Dollars worth ----- And if there is yet
remaining Let the above named men Divide Between Ann, William and Andrew McGarity My Daughter & two sons Each two Dollars ------- If there is
yet a remainder I also Do allow James McGarity and James Ballentine My Grandsons an Eaquel Divid reserving as Much as will purchase a New
habbit to my Daughter by law Sarah McGarity worth three or four Dollars. I add not. , but in the presents of the subscribing Witness Do Set My hand and
Seal this 11th Day of November AD 1818.
