This is a photograph of workers at the sawmill in
Alcolu.
It was taken during the late 1930s or early 1940s.
Fran Bothwell, who was born in Alcolu,
donated this photo to the Clarendon, SCGenWeb homepage. She has
identified Jeremiah H. Hartley (Jerry). He is in the gentleman with
the white hair in the center of the front row. If you can identify
