WILL AND TESTAMENT OF HENRY K. BOYD (Copied from Probate Records, Edgefield Co., South Carolina) I, Henry K. Boyd of the State of S.C. and District of Edgefield being in a low and lingering state of health and calling to mind the mortality of man that I have once to die, do make and ordain this my last will. First it is my will that all my just debts be paid before out of such of my Estate as my executors finds can be best spared. Secondly I will and bequeath to my beloved brother John Boyd all my Estate both real and personal to him and his heirs, saving Two Thousand Dollars which I do will and bequeath to my nephew John Henry Williams, which money my executors will pay to him out of such of my Estate as he shall think proper. When John Henry Williams shall arrive to the age of 21 years, if he should not live to that age, the Two Thousand Dollars is still to remain the property of my executor and his heirs. Lastly, I do appoint my brother John Boyd my executor of this my last will revoking and making null and void all other wills by me made and only ratifying this as my only true will.
