You can help the members of Eliza Lucas Pinckney Chapter continue to help others and to further the purposes of the DAR: promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children. Here are some of the items that are being collected by ELP DAR committees; please donate what you can.

For the Victory House (the SC State Veterans Nursing Home in Walterboro):

·        twin size fleece blankets

·        medium and large size new ladies or men's underwear, socks, casual shirts or blouses, tee shirts (especially military style),

·        sweaters, knit caps, slipper socks, afghans, lap robes,

·        games, puzzles, craft and art supplies,

·        large print books

·        2010 wall calendars

·        monetary donations toward needed items for individual patients and toward a new van to transport patients for doctor visits and outside activities.

Veterans Stand-Down (Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, Charleston and Goodwill Industries co-sponsor the Stand Down for the Homeless usually held in October of each year.)
